    I-DEAS Master Surfacing software is the advanced surface modeling complement to the I-DEAS Master Modeler. It helps you quickly and easily design and iteratively modify complex sculptured surface parts. I-DEAS Master Surfacing provides a rich set of curve and surface creation tools for lofting, sweeping, and blending surfaces, giving you excellent local and overall control of surface shape. Not only can you create your shape, but you can also easily make design changes be-cause relationships between geometry entities such as surface tangencies are maintained throughout the design effort. Advanced fairing operations help you remove bulges and achieve excellent local shape control of free-form surfaces.

Build!IT incorporates 3D CAD master models into a digital, product-driven process for building and inspecting assembly tooling. By using Build!IT in place of 2D prints, digital designs are seamlessly linked to manufacturing. Now, manufacturers can quickly refer back to design engineers to verify modifications and reduce potential errors that may impact processes downstream. Imageware Databridges provide bi-directional conversion of data from CATIA, UG, Pro/E and CADDS 5. The direct conversion to and from the native Imageware file minimizes data exchange issues for the user.

Surfacer Light or I-DEAS FreeForm Light
Surfacer® Light is a subset of the complete Surfacer product that provides functionality for reverse engineering and basic Surface modeling. It is also compatible with the I-DEAS® Free-Form feature. About 75 commands have been removed from Surfacer (primarily high-end surface modeling functions and documentation) to provide this lower cost option.
