Surfacer can start the design process by creating CAD geometry from a physical model in a fraction of the time of conventional CAD systems. Surfacer's surface modification and analysis tools create a smooth, continuous surface to ensure model and product quality. The real-time diagnostics and visualization tools provide easy to understand feedback as the user is editing the model. Surfacer allows physical parts with no CAD description to be brought into any CAD/CAM system for subsequent design and analysis. Surfacer enables CAD to be the Master by automatically updating the computer model to reflect changes in a physical tool or prototype. Surfacer ensures that your final part is accurate by comparing it directly to the CAD Master and displaying variations with an easy-to-read color chart. Build!IT incorporates 3D CAD master models into a digital, product-driven process for building and inspecting assembly tooling. By using Build!IT in place of 2D prints, digital designs are seamlessly linked to manufacturing. Now, manufacturers can quickly refer back to design engineers to verify modifications and reduce potential errors that may impact processes downstream. Imageware Databridges provide bi-directional conversion of data from CATIA, UG, Pro/E and CADDS 5. The direct conversion to and from the native Imageware file minimizes data exchange issues for the user.
